Ahead of our field Trip to Cork this coming Friday, the 13th of March it would be useful to look up designer Deirdre Breen of 'Dame Fine Print'. Deirdre is alumni of LIT's Limerick School of Art & Design (LSAD) and has been busy doing a wide variety of work since she graduated in 2014. Deirdre will give an overview of her work including collaboration with Ceadogan Rugs, an Irish Rug Company who handmade rugs that have been designed by up and coming Irish designers from a range of disciplines. Deirdre will mostly focus on her work with the Glucksman Gallery, 'Bandfield', a bandstand commission for the Mardyke in Cork City, which we will visit on the day.
