The image above is a simple shelter for two donkeys designed by Tierney Hayes. Inspiration for this form comes from the impression of a donkey's hoof in mud. An example of how we find inspiration anywhere and how that small seed can be translated into an unusual and exciting design. The materials used are local and the building methods are taken from the craft of curragh making using stretched canvas over a timber carcass and finished with tar.
