Well done to the third year's on their final presentation to Limerick Civic Trust for design proposals for a new War Memorial Museum that they hope to develop over the coming year at St. Munchin's Church of Ireland on Kings Island. We wish all our third year's every success in their future endeavors.
YEAR 2: An article has been pinned in studio 4C02 of a scheme that uses colour very effectively. Another designer who is renowned for this kind of treatment is UK designer Ben Kelly. Web link to his website below.
YEAR 3:
Ben Kelly Design has a scheme you may be interested in, and which will be relevant to St. Munchins COI, The Cheapside Hoard Museum, London.
An extension built on to a 1930's house in the Netherlands. Designed as an office space for the owner who favours minimilist design. The extension has reference to Japenses vernacular architecture with a combination of concrete and hardwood materials.
Well done to the second year's on their interim presentation with their client Novas and to Julie McKenna for taking the time out to meet with us today.
Well done to third-year, Patricia Curtain, on her installation piece for the Moylish Memorial Space, which was installed over the Easter holidays. Great job Patricia, well done. I think you will all agree that the photo here does not give full credit to the peaceful & uplifting space that has been created with many new faces utilising it. Hopefully, there will be an official opening next month sometime.
