Designer 11: KLD Kingston Lafferty Design

No doubt you have all heard of Roisin Lafferty of Kingston Lafferty Design. While I have posted about her before it is worth bringing her to your attention again as she recently won 'Image Magazine Interior Designer of the Year 2018' and deservedly so. Since graduating from DIT, followed by a Masters in Spatial Design at the University of Kingston in London she has made a name for herself working on high-end interiors mostly in the Dublin area. 

Architect 11: RCR Architects

RCR Arquitectes comprises of three chief architects who all studied together in Spain in 1997 and set up a practice the following year. In 2017 they won the Pritzker Prize for Architecture.  

Designer 10: O'Donnell O'Neill Design / OODA

You should regonise this image as being 'House' Pub in Limerick. This is one of the numerous trendiest bars and restaurant interiors Nationwide that has been designed by O'Donnell O'Neill Design / OODA

Anne-Marie O'Neill is chief designer and is responsible for a whole host of locatios such as the Lee Hotel in Cork, The Stella Diner in Rathmines, and more recently 'Press Up' on South Anne Street in Dublin.

Architect 5: Niall Mclaughlin

I posted a blog about Niall McLaughlin Architects last year, a London-based firm. However, they are worth mentioning again as Associate Tom McGlynn will give a talk & show a selection of their work at the launch of Open House Limerick 2018 this Friday, 19th October at 7.30pm. Tom McGlynn is overseeing the International Rugby Experience project on O'Connell Street in Limerick. This is a worthwhile talk to go to.
